Title: Exploring UCH-L1 and BDNF as a Point of Care in Traumatic Brain Injury
Biography: Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma, currently working as an additional professor in the department of Neurosurgery, SGPGIMS, Lucknow is a young, enthusiastic, skilled surgeon and researcher. His major interest includes Skull base and CV junction, Neurotrauma, Functional and stereotactic neurosurgery. Dr. Verma has many intramural & extramural research projects. He has introduced low-cost customized 3D models in the surgical planning of CV junction anomalies. His fellowships/awards include a training program on the Japan–India neurosurgical collaboration project (ENIN) by AOTS Japan, European continuous medical training for DBS, and the 2nd best paper award at UP-UK NEUROCON 2021, as well as the Young Rural Innovator Award at the Global Indian Young Scientists' Research and Innovation Conference 2023. He has more than 75 publications, including articles, 17 book chapters, editorial member of 3 books, a section editor of Neurology India journal and a reviewer of 03 neurosurgical journals.
